There are still some glaciers in the Val Pusteria, which are resistant to global warming. A great location is the Ahrntal area, with the Magerstein, Schneebigen Nock, Hochgall and Schwarzer Wand.
But also in the Zillertal Alps you can find interesting mountains above 3000 m like the Schwarzenstein, Möseler, Weisszint, and Löffler. At the end of the Ahrntal then there are already the Hohen Tauern with the Rötspitze and the Dreiherrenspitze.
